21st Century Democrats Endorses Robin Weirauch (OH-5)
Twenty-First Century Democrats is proud to endorse Robin Weirauch in her campaign to represent Ohio’s 5th congressional district. She will face off against Republican Bob Latta in a special election on December 11, 2007 to replace the late Congressman Paul Gillmor. Weirauch is running for congress because she believes that many of Northwest Ohio’s problems are being ignored and that new leadership is needed to affect real change.Weirauch’s primary concern is the economic security of her neighbors. Her experiences at Bowling Green’s Center for Regional Development made her passionate about creating good jobs for the people of Northwest Ohio and ensuring that all communities have the resources they need to grow and prosper. She believes that we can build a sustainable economy where individuals and industries are able to reach their full potential without sacrificing national and environmental security.
