Montana is close!
A new Research 2000 poll for Daily Kos taken 10/15-16 among likely voters with a margin of error of 4.5% in Montana: (9/22-24 results)McCain (R) 49 (52)
Obama (D) 45 (39)
That means Obama is within striking distance. How did that happen?
We certainly won't take all the credit, but 21st Century Democrats has been working a field program and (soon to happen) GOTV effort in Montana that should contribute to Democratic victories up and down the ballot.
If Obama does win in Montana, it will be partially because of the effort of our field organizers and their door knocking and phone banking.
