21st Century Democrats is proud to endorse Illinois Democrat Bill Foster in the race to replace former Republican Speaker Dennis Hastert. Bill will face off against Hastert's hand-picked successor, Jim Oberweis, in a March 8th Special Election to decide who will represent Illinois' 14th Congressional District for the remainder of the term. Oberweis is a multi-millionaire who has already tried to buy his way into office three times. He is committed to continuing the destructive policies of George W. Bush, Dennis Hastert and their congressional Republican allies - but we're going to do everything we can to ensure he doesn't get that chance.
