GOP and Earmarks: A Love-Hate Relationship

John McCain loves to rail against earmarks and the lawmakers who use them. But when it came to the single biggest decision of his campaign, selecting a running mate, he picked a politician that can’t get enough of them. Not only did Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin request and receive more earmark dollars per capita than any other governor in America, but she’s perfectly willing to lie about it. From TPM:
