Field Organizer Trainings Across the Country
We’re taking our trainings on the road to prepare progressives across the country to achieve victory. We partner with state parties and progressive organizations to train activists to win issue campaigns and elect candidates up and down the ballot.The first stop in this year’s training program was Newark, Delaware. We trained candidates, organizers and volunteers from across the state.
The next stop is our Major League Action training program in DC (June 4-8, 2008).

Major League Action – Field Organizer Training
Each year 21st Century Democrats trains activists in advanced campaign techniques at our Field Organizer Training in Washington, DC. Our 2008 Major League Action Field Organizer Training, will be held on June 4-8 at Georgetown University. In addition to participation in our interactive seminars, participants will hear from outstanding national speakers.In addition to our campaign sessions, our extensive training includes:
Campaign Simulation
Participants will take part in an intense campaign simulation where they will be challenged to apply their new skills using real world data to develop campaign strategy and action plan for their field experience.
Field Experience
Teams will organize and execute an afternoon canvass of targeted local precincts for a candidate endorsed by 21st Century Democrats.
Job Fair & Victory BBQ
At 21st Century Democrats trainings, we connect progressive organizations with our newly trained campaign operatives. Our Major League Action training will give participants marketable skills that help them land jobs on campaigns and in progressive organizations from throughout the country.
